(But if you really want to ask in that field, I will sure do try my best to answer your question nicely and correctly anyway :) ). This includes but is not limited to web based email or whatever comes to your mind.

Email - Group Mail for LN

Expert: Joerg Droege - 10/30/2009

Question
I'm using Lotus Notes 6.5 with a few other people and we are required touse the Group Mail to send our e-mails to for audit purposes. What is currently being done is that whenever we send e-mails, our own personal e-mail address appears with the Group e-mail address.
Say that someone Replies to All, he will then cc me in, be it intentionally or otherwise. If they do not want to cc me in (my personal mail) they have to manually remove my personal mail address.
Is there a way to create the Group Mail from including the sender's personal mail?

Answer
Hello Fatin!

Thanks for your question!

It has been a long time I have used Lotus Mail. I think I understood it that way, you don't want them to send you the answer to your private email when hitting "Reply All"? In this case I would use the BCC field.

Hope this helps!
All the best!
Bye!
Joerg
