About Joerg Droege
Expertise
I did an education as a Management Assistant in Informatics, I am using the Opera browser since year 2000 & the M2 email client since 2004. I will do my best to answer also other email related questions and email client settings related, etc. But please no Outlook or Outlook Express questions, since I do not use that. (But if you really want to ask in that field, I will sure do try my best to answer your question nicely and correctly anyway :) ). This includes but is not limited to web based email or whatever comes to your mind.

Experience
I am a Management Assistant in Informatics education which was done under the control of the CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). And had to solve various PC, email and other related problems. Using computers since 1990.

Expert: Joerg Droege - 7/10/2009

Question
My friend and myself send each other emails daily, I have been sending her emails and they are received by her she has sent me replies and I have not received them, this has been happening for just over a week.  (her emails address has yahoo in it) I have contacted all my other friends and they continue to receive my emails and I have received replies from them all.  I do hope I have made myself clear, thank you so much for your help - oh yes we are both using computers at home.  I look forward to hearing from you regards

Answer
Hello Katherine!

Thanks for your question!

I took it from the AllExperts questions pool!

1) Check whether they did misdetected as SPAM in the Spam/Junk folder of the receiver.

2) If you use an email client program to send emails like e.g. Outlook check whether the SMTP (Outgoing Email Server) settings are correct.

3) If 1) and 2) do not help you can only get help from Yahoo  , then there is probably something wrong on their side!

you can contact them through the help system.

Go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/helpcen…

then choose the category you want
then contact us
you will send them what you want and they usually do reply within 24 hours.

Hope this helps!
All the best!
Bye!
Joerg
