I question the statement that this does not seem fair. If your husband took on a job that is straight commission, meaning he only is paid when he sells something what is the problem? State law requires, even if someone is straight commission they must be paid at least minimum wage for the work or "being at the work place" Clocked in.

The DRAW system works well because at lest you know that you will get something on payday. If he can't keep up with the draw he should look for new employment before he is fired.
