I am also well versed in the Title V Civil Rights Act and the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

Employment Law - pay stub question

Question
Hello,
I have been employed by this company for a little over 3 months now and have not gotten a pay stub at all. I don't know if that is something I should be concerned with or not. Is it required for the employer in the state of Florida to provide all employees (direct deposit or not) with a pay stub?

Answer
The state of Florida has no provisions for pay statements. The only provision they have is that Farm Labor contractors with 10 or more employees must give a statement showing itemized deductions on a semimonthly basis or at the time wages are paid.
