Employment Law - salary managment hours away from job site

Expert: Thomas R. Ballas - 7/8/2009

Question
Is there a  numbers of hours you must be off before the next shift starts? how many hours in one day can they work you?

Answer
Manning:

Some jobs have mandatory rest, such as railroad workers, airline pilots etc, by way of federal laws.

I am sure there are other jobs that require such rest, but I would have to know what sort of work you do to answer your question.
