i work 40 hours a week iwork as electrian do i have to particapate in on call demands while not everyone else do not same rank in other words some people have to and others dont

Bob  - As long as you are paid overtime for any hours over forty that you have to work - actual work, not simply being on call - you must work the hours your employer sets.  Only if there is unlawful discrimination in the assignment of who must be on call is it illegal.  Unlawful discrimination is singling out people of one race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age or gender for different treatment.
