what symptoms did you experience that made you to see the doctor?  just curious.. wondering about both diabetes/thyroid

Dear Isreal,   I had all the common symptoms of a thyroid problem, but all thyroid blood work would come back normal for the 5 years it was tested...  It was not until my doctor thought I had had a stroke, and ordered an ultrasound on my carotid arteries, and that is when they found the complex cysts on my thyroid....

As for the diabetes, I also had the thurst and frequent urination and my doctor, who is excellent, always checks for these things annually and when she did the glucose test, there it was....  My glucose level was out the top....
