Subject: Determining Heat Output

Question
QUESTION: The company I work for developed an integrated solution called a Flypak™.  How
would I calculate how much heat the solution is generating, I'm assuming that's
called BTU's.

ANSWER: BTU's is an accumulation of calories gained or lost.  You may need to get down to calories before you reach a BTU.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: I wasn't asking about food, I'm attempting to find a way to determine the heat
that is generated by a combination of video technology products integrated
together.

Answer
I wasnt talking about food either.  BTU's are based on the amount of "heat" calories a substance has, holds, and the speed at which it will give it up.  My brother is an Air tech and he has described several times how many calories it takes to heat 4 oz of water in 10 mininutes by 10 degrees.
