Question
Dear Amy, Should I use meet different people or visit different peple when the sentence is about the advantages of being an exchange student?

Answer
Delia,
can you please give me more details about whatever it is you are trying to write about, as I need more info from you in order to be able to answer your question.
To meet different people and to visit different people are both acceptable expressions but it all depends on what message you're trying to convey.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
