English as a Second Language/Eng.

I am confused about this:
What are the difference between egoistic, egotistic and egocentric?

Hello Andrew,

thank you for your questions.

There are no differences between egoistic, egotistic and egocentric. They are synonyms, so they can be used interchangeably. I believe (this is just my personal take on this though) that "egotistic" is more frequently used than the other two, but there is no particular reason behind that.

I hope this clarifies things for you.

Looking forward to more of your questions.

Best regards,
