English as a Second Language/Grammatical Persons

Hello Amy,
This may seem like a silly question (and I am almost certain that I know the correct answer): however, I would just like to make certain that I am correct in my thinking.

When you use a Proper Noun / Nominative Singular Noun (The Man), do you use the third person singular conjugation? If such is in fact the case, if you used more than one Proper Noun or a Nominative Plural noun (The Men, would you then use the 3rd person plural conjugation?

Hello John,

trust me, there are no silly questions :)

You do have the right answer though, so ...not much for me to do than provide some reassurance?!

The man - third person singular

The men - third person plural.

Hope this is the answer you were looking for.

Looking forward to hearing from you again, should you have more questions.
