English as a Second Language/which one!?

Which one is true to use in order to refer to the average of the air temperature in a room knowing that it is not uniform all around the room? 1-the room mean air temperature , 2-the mean room air temperature 3-something else

Hello Saba,

thanks for your question.

I'll be honest, this is more of a science question than an ESL one. I'm using "average temperature", but I guess you can use either "room mean air temperature" or "mean room air temperature" for the situation you have described in your message.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
