Hello Amy,

In the underlined sentence, what is the implication for «bear and song» ?
I know she received a gift but does Hillary really means the real bear or it is pointing out to something else with political aspects ?

Thanks

Answer
Hossein,

there is no hidden meaning behind that sentence. She literally refers to a teddy bear that sings :Don't worry, be happy" every time someone squeezes it.
So she kept the bear at the office and every now and then used it to relieve the stress/tension by giving it a squeeze and listening to it sing "Don't worry, be happy"

I hope this helps.
