English as a Second Language/confusion in conditionals

Hi Amy....Amy please help me conditionals sentences{if clause sentences}

How many types of conditionals are there ?
Please also teach the variations?

Second part of my question is that in which category of conditionals
are the following 2 sentences.

If you would only study harder, you will pass the class.
If you would only help in the kitchen today, I will cook your favorite meal tomorrow.

Hello Dev,

teaching about conditionals is really beyond the purpose of this website. A simple google search should provide you with an abundance of websites that offer tutorials for that:

Here are a few:

http://www.eslcafe.com/grammar.html (scroll down to conditional sentences)
http://www.englishpage.com/conditional/conditionalintro.html (this is one of the best sites for learning about the conditionals)

The most common types of conditional clauses are the following:

zero conditional: if + present simple; present simple

If you eat too much you get an upset stomach.

first conditional: if + present simple; future simple

If you don't hurry you'll miss the buss.

second conditional: if + past simple; would + infinitive

If I were younger I would go on a sailing trip around the world.

third conditional: if + past perfect; would have + past participle

If I had known that you needed help, I would have sent my friend to your place.

Back to the two sentences you're asking about - they're both mixed conditionals, and you can read more about them here: http://www.grammarly.com/handbook/sentences/conditional-sentences/8/conditional-
