Question
I was doing a word puzzle and the answer was doodlebug.  I wanted to know what is a doodlebug and what do they look like?  I did a search and basically only came up with you as an expert so far.  I am not an entomologist but insects are pretty cool.  Thanks.  Alicia

Answer
Doodle bug is an informal name for in insect known as the antlion. They build cone shaped sand traps and wait for an unsuspecting insect to fall in the cone, right into the jaws of the antlion. Here is a website that can explain them better then I.
