Question

click beetle

Hello,

I am looking to identify this click beetle. I know it is in the family elateridae but would like to no more. I collected this insects in Southern Utah, Red Cliffs, just North of St. George. We collected them in spring at a light trap.

If you are not familiar with t his group of insects do you know someone that might be able to help me.

but I don't know for certain....I also don't know that many folks working on elaterids. They just aren't gaudy enough, and not economically important enough....
