Entomology (Study of Bugs)/Identifying bug

Question
Black bug
Black bug
I have been getting bit recently while sleeping, and I was wondering if this could be doing it. It has wings and seems to jump. Sorry for the bad picture.

Answer
Hi Spencer
I cannot see enough of this to tell you what it is. The only insects taht bite sleepers are bedbugs and fleas and neither have wings. Only fleas jump. Biting flies have wings and fly instead of jump. Unless you observed  a bug actually biting you consider the possibility of an allergic reaction
