I.have found approx 8 of these minute bugs on a west facing windowsill on side window opens. Noneanywhere else and I.have.searched.  There is a big tree in front of this window and plants and bark. Please help I am going crazy. They are soft and squish on.contact.

Dear Lisa - I cannot be certain from your images, but a prime suspect would be nuisance pests known as booklice, Psocodea (formerly Psocoptera): Liposcelidae. They feed primarily on mold spores, and thus usually are associated with warm humid environments. See http://tinyurl.com/dx35sa4 for some images and more detailed information; control measures beyond moisture control and lowering indoor humidity seldom are needed.
Hope this helps,

Will accept most questions in general entomology, including those related to medical entomology, taxonomy, ecology, arthropod surveillance, and pest management. If you are requesting a 'mystery bug' identification, PLEASE either attach an image to your question, or post an image on a web page (such as Flickr) so that I can look at it, as verbal descriptions frequently are insufficient for a definitive identification.
