Question
I LIVE IN FLORIDA. THERE ARE VERY SMALL ROUND FUZZY YELLOW COCOONS ALL OVER THE CEILING AND WALLS OF MY PORCH. WHEN YOU TRY TO BRUSH THEM OFF, THEY SMEAR AND LEAVE A STICKY TRAIL.  VERY HARD TO GET OFF, EVEN WITH A HIGH PRESSURE WATER HOSE. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET RID OF THEM? THANK YOU.

Answer
Billie:

Sounds like spider egg sacs, possibly.  Could be something else entirely that is not related to insects or arachnids.  I don't know how to clean them off.  You might see if AllExperts has a "cleaning" category.  I'm not trying to be sarcastic or unempathetic, I just don't know.
