Question
 mystery bug
mystery bug
I found small round bugs that are black on a plush blanket. There is no visible head  on the bug.  They crawl around &  if you look closely at the pictures you can barely make out legs. (I think)  The bodies are shiny.  I've looked at pictures online & I  don't think they resemble bed bugs  or fleas,  but I could be wrong,  please help me identify them.  I've attached pictures I took off these bugs.

Answer
Hi Jo
This is not a bed bug or a flea. It is a dermestid beetle and it looks like a Furniture Carpet Beetle. Look around your carpets and furniture as you may have an infestation. They also like to invade kitchens so check the dried opened foods in your cupboards. Let me know what you find.
