Question
Bug
Bug
Can you please identify this interesting looking fellow from Colorado for me?  It is about 5/8's of an inch long.

Answer
Hi Brian
This is The larva of a firefly or lightning bug. Unlike the mature bugs they are voracious predators. They gang up on earthworms

Oops! You are correct Brian ,it is a ladybug. There are a few firefly larvae that resemble ladybugs. I do not know what I was thinking. I guess I am getting old. I will be 84 in September but I never make mistakes like this. Sorry
