Entomology (Study of Bugs)/tiny black bug

Question
I saw Avery, very tiny black bug on my kitchen on several occasions, it almost looks like a dot. It moves extremely slowly, so I just get a piece of paper towel and put it in the trash. What is. It, Please Help.

Hi Ms Cooper
I cannot indentify an insect without seeing it. Kitchen bugs are usually dermestid beetles that get into food products but since you only found one this was most likely a beetle that got into the house. If you see more of them try to get a photoan d let me know
