Entomology (Study of Bugs)/bed bug worm ???

what the heck is this ??? Found this in, and under my sheet on my mattress  one night, I live in Hawaii.


Thank you for including the images with your question.  

Unfortunately, insect larvae are nearly impossible to identify from images alone.  This resembles some kind of fly larva to me, but not one that has any medical or health significance.  I am not terribly familiar with Hawaiian insects, however.

I recommend taking the specimen to a local entomologist at U of Hawaii, or a natural history museum, or even the public health department.  He or she can put the critter under a microscope and render a more informed opinion than I can over the internet.

Definitely NOT related to bed bugs!
