Question
white bug
white bug
Hi,
I saw this crawling on my headboard. It's a tiny white bug and it's the 2nd time I've seen them. I have started to get little red marks on my but they don't itch or hurt or anything. Can you tell me is this a bed bug? I have a video thats clearer of what it is.

Answer
Jeff,

No this is not a bed bug, see http://www.livingwithbugs.com/bed_bug.html for comparison. This looks more like a mold mite, see http://www.livingwithbugs.com/mold_mites.html. Since mold mites generally indicate the presence of mold and excess moisture it is possible that you are experiencing an allergic reaction to mold.
