I just learned that the spider in Cody, Wyoming is not an owl spider, but rather a "cat faced spider." WE also have one outside or home in Cody, WY. It is harmless to humans.

It looks like a cat faced spider, from what I read they are harmless to humans, but please let us know what you find out.

It is actually Araneus gemmoides, more commonly known as a "Cat Faced" Spider.
