Question
Please give me a detailed account on the necessity of conservation of plants and animals

Answer
debasmita:

There are two basic reasons for conservation and they are:

The earth is basically one large ecosystem which must be balanced in terms of plants and animals. Largely, plants generate oxygen and animals generate carbon dioxide therefore they compliment each other.
If there is too much carbon dioxide generated, it goes to the upper atmospheres and serves as a shield that holds heat thus heating the earth which has been referred to as global warming. In this situation there would be an imbalance of too many animals. To make things more complicated, man also needs energy and a lot of man made chemicals to assist in comfort. All of these needs add to over pollution with largely carbon dioxide in addition to the release of respiratory carbon dioxide. This fact is necessary for the earth to maintain a healthy balance of plants and animals.

The second need to conserve plants and animals is to maintain diversity such as preventing the extinction of wild animals and plants. This is a goal that will allow all future generations of people to see these fascinating creators but will also help maintain the balance of plants and animals. When extinction occurs it affects many other creatures that depend on the one that has become extinct, therefore creating a chain reaction of extinction.

There are many other reasons for conserving plants and animals but  the two that I have above are about the most important. There are volumes written about this subject that you can find in your local library.
