Environmental Science/perpetual resources

Question
In a previous answer you said that you didn't feel there was anything which could be considered as a perpetual resource. How do you classify solar, wind and wave resources then?

Answer
Dear Dougie Lee ,

Thanks for your very lovely insight. Yes I still feel that some resources which are considered as perpetual are not perpetual , perminent , persistent and continuous. Solar energy itself has times in days when its availability could be availed. Therefore the system on which solar energy would be running will have to be transferred or switched according to the availability and intensity of energy via sun. Its continuous presence each day and seasonal fluctuation is again brings shaky decisions.
Same goes with Wind and Wave Energy ,, all are season and climate dependent. Long term mega projects cannot be based on them. Some failure in Hydro Energy are making waves in developing countries.

On general outset  yes I agree that presence of perpetual resources is evident and there is a wide field to take advantage of them and it should be taken however in a very long term sketch perpetual resources dont help much.
I hope my words and language is not much irritating. Im sorry if they cause any upset

Very truly
