Question
Is it possible for my son, age 24, to have both Epilepsy and Tourettes Syndrome?  Will Touretttes cause a false reading of Epilepsy on an EEG test?

Answer
hello Dana,
i'm sorry to tell you as far as i understand the answer is yes both conditions can co-exist.ordinarily,if the person giving the tests is well experienced the distinctions between the responses being read are different and distinct so false readings don't occur often i would think.Dana,if you should at any time feel as though you
want a second test performed,by all means,have it done.i hope i've been moderately helpful.good luck.think positively.
                    be well,  Joe
