Question
A women wanted a child, and asked a man for sperm. He says that becase child support can not legaly be contracked out in America, she would have to use a spem donar from a sperm bank. In Japan he would have donated his sperm becase man do not pay child support and never see there children with out there mothers consent.  There is no child support treaty with the USA and Japan.

Answer
Hi Rigolefamily,

In the US, under sperm donation contracts, the father does not have any legally binding support requirements, that is via a sperm bank.  This is also true in Japan.  In both cases, the mother holds sole responsibility for the child.  Just like if a mother were to adopt a child.  So, if this woman wants a child, there are ways to get donated sperm.  However, if she is looking for support for that child, then it is a very different story.

Again, as I have mentioned in previous answers, each culture is different and has different rules and views of moral standards.  Japan has a very different view of morals then the west does.
