Question How come Eudora light has such a complicated way of sending attachments? Every time I send one nobody can get it to come up. It asks you what program you want to file it under. What does that mean and how do I do it? Everybody I know just clicks"send attachments" and that does it. Can you recommend a free email carrier that it simple to send an attachment?
Thanks

Answer Hi Jane,
It's easy to send attachments in Eudora, it's the same as in Outlook Express. Click the paperclip, navigate to the file you want to send, and double click it - that automatically adds the file as an attachment.
When you send an attachment, if the person who is receiving it doesn't have that program, they will have to download a viewer, for example if you send an Excel, PowerPoint, etc. file or another reason could be that the people you send to have to set their email programs to read MIME and/or HTML.
I use Eudora as my default mail program, the only people that had problems viewing regular attachments were using AOL. Once they went to Keyword MIME and downloaded the file(S) there, they could view anything I sent.
What kind of files are you trying to send as attachments, just need to know the file extension?
