Hello,

Please note that I am an expert in Ancient Greek-Roman history (view my profile)  which has nothing to do with “Portuguese and French influence in front of the British and American influence in the Middle East”, since this matter refers to a  much later time period  of Middle East history.

Ancient Greek-Roman history in fact covers a time period which goes from about 2500 BC to 476 AD, i.e. to the fall of the Western Roman Empire in the Early Middle Ages.

So, you should ask an expert in  the  Middle East  history from  the Early Middle Ages onward.
