Question I'm aware that NATO currently consists of 28 members. My question is how many of those countries are European. It seems that the majority of them are, but I'm not fully familiar with all the European countries so I can't be sure. Thank you and have a nice day!
Answer Hi Effie,
All members states of NATO are european except USA and Canada. Turkey might be an exception too, but since 5% of its territory is located on the European continent (namely Istanbul), then it could be consired European and Asian as well.
