Question
I have a file in excel and I copied that page to powerpoint as link paste.
My excel data is changing with one manual click of macro button and my power point presentation screen changes as well. But sometimes I have to right click on powerpoint slide and click update link. Can I create one macro in excel to update the link for Power Point?

Answer
I'm not at all familiar with powerpoint - there is probably an object model available for it that would mean it would update - but there is probably also a setting to automatically update the links in powerpoint?

The google search that will give you the object model is

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=powerpoint+object+model&meta=

I've had to do it this way as I don't know which version you are using, but in essence your macro would need to create an object, set it to the powerpoint presentation and then update the links.
