I have protected a worksheet in excel, and would like to unprotect just certan cells. Hope you can help

Answer You protect a worksheet, not cells. Before you protect the worksheet you FORMAT certain cells to not be "locked" (default is they are all locked) - foramt/cells/protection/deselect locked checkbox. Then when you protect the sheet, the cells which are not locked are available to be changed.
