Expert: Richard Rost - 7/10/2009
QuestionQUESTION: I have data that is in row 28 of three worksheets. Worksheet 4 is a summary sheet. Is there a way to get Sheet4 to automatically copy the data in row 28 of every worksheet when I originally type it in?
ANSWER: Just COPY and PASTE SPECIAL > PASTE LINK the data. Then it will automatically keep itself updated.

QUESTION: I don't think that's exactly what I was looking for unless I'm doing it wrong. There is certain data I have on row 28 of all my worksheets (I will end up having about 100 worksheets). I want just that row of data to be compiled into a single list so I was wondering if there's a way to get excel to automatically copy that data onto a separate worksheet whenever I originally type it in. Thanks.
AnswerNot automatically, no. You could write a macro to do it, but I couldn't instruct you in how to do that off the top of my head. Sorry.
