QUESTION: I need an add one button. I can make them one at a time making a command button in excel. It will take all day long to go through individually making these command button 400 times. Is there a quicker, or efficient way to make lots if them for different cells?
Turn on the macro recorder and record yourself creating two buttons from start to finish, make sure they're completely setup before turning off the macro recorder. If you made a lot of mistakes along the way, turn off the recorder, delete them and start again. Get a good clean straigh through recording of you setting up 2 buttons with no mistakes.
Turn off the recorder and paste the resulting recorded code here and we'll take a look at how we can expand that recorded activity to repeat 400 times. Be sure to indicate here what 400 cells you're wanting to connect those buttons to, as well.
