Excel/Workbook protection


I have a workbook with many hidden sheets for calculation. I password protect the workbook. Upon re-opening the excel file the work book get automatically unprotected. and the hidden sheets can be unhidden. please help out.

This isn't the behaviour I would expect from a workbook, so my suspiscion is that there is a macro at work which is doing this - is it possible to see the workbook in question (my email is - without that it's a little difficult to resolve.
