Excel/Excel formula

Hi Tom
What I need is a formula that would tell me which month a category changed to the number 2.  So with ref below, category b changed to 2 in March.  I would like the formula to leave a blank space if the current number isn't 2.

Cat   Mnth   Current   Jan   Feb   Mar   Apr   May
a   Feb   2   3   2   2   2   2
b   Mar   2   3   4   2   2   2
c   Apr   2   4   4   4   2   2
d      3   4   4   3   3   3

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards

Paul Hancock

Assuming "Cat"  is in A1, then in B2 I put in this formula

doing Ctrl+shift+enter rather than just enter to commit the formula (since it is an array formula).

Now select B2 and drag fill down to your last row.

I assumed you would go all the way out to column O for the month December.

It seemed to work for me as I understand the requirement.
