Excel/Please, help me!

what formula will i use?
if i have fast in column A and Independent in B the result should be independent in column C....

A          B          C
Fast         Independent          Independent
Fast         Instructional         Instructional
fast         frustration          frustration
Average      Independent          Independent
Average      Instructional         Instructional
Average      frustration          frustration
Slow         Independent          Instructional
Slow         Instructional         Instructional
Slow         frustration          frustration

Based on the question, the formula is

=if(and(a2="Fast",B2="Independent"),"Independent","Whatever you wanted instead")

But I suspect there is more to it than this - happy to help further, but would need more clarification of what you are trying to achieve.

I have provided first hand support since `95 for Microsoft Office majoring in Word and Excel - support for all versions from 2 onwards. I'm based in the UK, so please allow for time differences when asking me questions from other parts of the world!

My background is in the insurance industry and call centre areas, but have been called upon to provide many varied solutions.

I'm educated to UK A level standard, but as I left school some 30 years ago that is rather irrelevent - university of life has provided more of a background!
