I have a validation box in cell C10 that allows a user to choose a range name. (Ex - range names such as: "Drill","Saw", "Sander". Each range consists of a symmetrical block of specification information). I am trying to write a macro that will copy the selected range (multiple cells) to another range anchored by a cell named "Tool" (H2).
Can you help?
This worked for me. It assumes everything is on the same sheet.
Dim s As String, r As Range
s = Range("C10").Value
On Error Resume Next
Set r = Range(s)
On Error GoTo 0
If Not r Is Nothing Then
MsgBox s & " is bad named range"
