Question
Hi Tom

Is it possible to alter this piece of code so that the same sound is played at three different intervals: 10, 20 and 30 seconds?

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim intLastRow As Integer
On Error GoTo ws_exit1
If Not Intersect(Range("GroupCell"), Target) Is Nothing Then
Application.EnableEvents = False
Range("H3:I4").ClearContents

intLastRow = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row - 1
Call UnProtectMe
Cells(2, 4).Resize(intLastRow, 1).ClearContents
Call ProtectMe

End If
ws_exit1:
Application.EnableEvents = True

On Error GoTo ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = False
If Not Intersect(Target, Me.Range("J9")) Is Nothing Then
If Me.Range("J9").Value = 10 Then PlaySound
End If

ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Christopher Mitchell,

So the value of J9 would have 10, 20 or 30 and when it did, the sound would play?

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim intLastRow As Integer
On Error GoTo ws_exit1
If Not Intersect(Range("GroupCell"), Target) Is Nothing Then
Application.EnableEvents = False
Range("H3:I4").ClearContents

intLastRow = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row - 1
Call UnProtectMe
Cells(2, 4).Resize(intLastRow, 1).ClearContents
Call ProtectMe

End If
ws_exit1:
Application.EnableEvents = True

On Error GoTo ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = False
If Not Intersect(Target, Me.Range("J9")) Is Nothing Then
If Me.Range("J9").Value = 10 or me.Range("J9").Value = 20 or _
  Me.Range("J9").Value = 30  Then PlaySound
End If

ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
