QUESTION: I need a formula for the following

2015 TAXable earnings   Yearly
1.50%   UP_TO   12,012.00
3.50%   OVER  12,012     UP_TO   17,576.00
7.00%   OVER 17,576.00      UP_TO   70,044.00
8.00%   ALL  SALARY   OVER   70,044.00
I would be most gratefull if you could e-mail me a formula for same
The Tax due should be  9644.16 if ones salary was  140,000

you may use = IF...... I am paid Forthnightly so it must be Divided by 26

Assume your salary is in cell L3, then this should calculate the total tax due:


if you want it divided by 26 then it would be


replace the L3 in the formula to refer to the cell with your salary.
