Excel/formula rewriting

Hi Tom
The following formula works perfectly well.

=IF(AND(L3=7,L4="Aut 1",L5="PPI"),AVERAGEIFS(AF15:AF1499,M15:M1499,"Y",B15:B1499,7)
I am having a bit of trouble adding an extra criteria.  I want the formula to look into range D15:D1500 for a specific class.  That class is displayed in cell L7.  So I added the following criteria:

The who formula was written as:
=IF(AND(L3=7,L4="Aut 1",L5="PPI"),AVERAGEIFS(AF15:AF1499,M15:M1499,"Y",B15:B1499,7),D15:D1500,L7)

However this new formula produces an error.  Could you tell me where I have gone wrong?

Thanks in advance

=IF(AND(L3=7,L4="Aut 1",L5="PPI"),AVERAGEIFS(AF15:AF1499,M15:M1499,"Y",B15:B1499,7),D15:D1500,L7)

should be

=IF(AND(L3=7,L4="Aut 1",L5="PPI"),AVERAGEIFS(AF15:AF1499,M15:M1499,"Y",B15:B1499,7,D15:D1499,L7))

Note that I rearranged the parens, but I also changed the cell range for D15:D1500 to D15:D1499 to match the other ranges you are using in your formula.  They should all span the same number of cells.
