hi Tom,

with the function 'WEEKNUM' I can show the number of the week in a cell.
How can I get weeknumbers with year in front of it?

This will enable me to sort everything more logic in a collumn. Week 2 in 2015 should be shown after week 52 in 2014.

thanks in advance.

if cell A1 contains your date then

so & is the concatenation operator

Text(A1,"yyyy")   will produce 2014  if you date is in 2014

You can put in a separator if your wish

would separate the output with an underscore for example.

If you want to make the output a real number rather than a text string then

If I have misinterpreted your question, please post back with clarification.
