I'm trying to set up VBA code within Excel where I have a class module (say Ants) that I've instantiated 1,000 times. I would like to have a single event that triggers a response from all 1,000 Ants. Ideally, for example, in standard code module
Standard Module (DefendHome)
RaiseEvent Defend(1, false)
Class Module (Ants)
Function Defend(Direction as Long, Cancel as Boolean)
I'm sure that I've missed plenty. I'm hoping that you have a simple example of how I might accomplish this that I could use as a starting point.
Thank you for your help.
John Walkenbach has a good example of doing this creating a single click event for multiple buttons on a userform. The method puts all the objects in an array. See the approach at his page:
