Question
Hi Tom

I recorded the following code. It produces an error message because the worksheet referred to in it: "Sheet2" is very hidden in the workbook.  Could you write a line that unhides Sheet2 and the rehides at the end of the code?

Thanks in advance

Chris Mitchell

Sub gender()

   Sheets("Sheet2").Select
   Range("D2:D19569").Select
   Selection.Copy
   Sheets("PPI").Select
   Range("C2").Select
       Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _
       :=False, Transpose:=False

End Sub

Answer
Chris Mitchell,

Sub gender()

   Application.ScreenUpdating = False
   With Sheets("Sheet2")
    .Visible = xlSheetVisible

   Sheets("Sheet2").Select
   Range("D2:D19569").Select
   Selection.Copy
   Sheets("PPI").Select
   Range("C2").Select
       Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _
       :=False, Transpose:=False

   .Visible = xlSheetVeryHidden
   End With
   Application.ScreenUpdating = True

End Sub

worked for me.   I also suppressed screen updating to hide the exposure of sheet2 and to speed up the operation.
