Excel/VBA Question Regarding Checkboxes

Question
Hi Bob!

I have the need to place a Checkbox from the developer's tab on Column B next to names that could conceivably populate anywhere from 1 to 60 entries on column A.  Column A will not always contain the same list of names so I would need to think of a way to make a checkbox appear ONLY if a cell is populated next to it.

Is this possible, or is there an easier alternative?

Thank you for your valuable time!!!

Rob.

Answer
Right-click the sheet tab, select View Code, enter this:

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
   If Target.Value <> "" And Target.Column = 1 Then
       ActiveSheet.CheckBoxes.Add(57.75, Target.Top, 24, 17.25).Select
       Selection.Characters.Text = ""
       ActiveWindow.RangeSelection.Select
   End If
End Sub
