Question
How can I format the text that is inserted into a form by a combo box control?
Also I want an easy way (“on the fly”) to add new data items to the list that is available in the combo box.
Thank you for your time.

For a combo box in the Forms toolbar you can't change the text as this is a standard in Excel, if you wish to though you can use a combo box from the Control Toolbar, this will enable you to change the font style by going to the design button on the toolbar and selecting the combo box, then moving down to select the font option, a button will appear to the right of the font option and you can select your font.

the easiest way to add options to your list, using the combo box from the control toolbar you will have to type in a range name for you list ie select the list you want to use and go to insert name define and name that range, then go to the properties in the combo button and where it has the list range type in the name for the list, you can then update the list at any time with a new cell (re define the range) and it will be available in your combo box.

Hope this helps
