Excel/Drop Down lists

Question
Hi,

I am trying to set up an easy spread sheet for sme of my workers. We are a Venue that relates to qweddings, and I want to be able to have drop down lists for when our managers take special bookins. I am hoping to have a drop down list with meals for them to easily select. I would like to know how to do this both for a regular page, and also if possible to set up a master on sheet one, but link the information to sheets 2, or 4 etc.

Thanks ever so much

Steve

Answer
Hey Steve,

the easiest way is to use Excel's validation. It is under the menu Data-Validation-Select list instead of any value.

Just google "Excel validation" to get some examples.

Another option is to use comboboxes. It's a bit more involved (not much more). It depends on the look/feel of your worksheet which one is better.

Drop me a line at gygulyas - at - yahoo - dot - ca and I can send you an example for both.
