Mark, what is the best way to connect with a reputable factory to set up an import business?  I have the retail contacts here, but need to set up the supply chain and logistics.

Hi Rick,

Sorry for the late since I was in India and had no internet access.

To start an import business at China, I think you'd better find someone or some company who can help you:
1) Sourcing a list of potential suppliers;
2) Compare the prices and collect samples/catalogues;
3) Negotiate the prices and help placing/inspection/delivering the order;

You can find such service at the lowest 5% of the total value or said probably several hundred dollars. Please tell me what kinds of goods you are going to import. Possibly I will have interest to do so.
